ORDINARY EUROPEANS REMEMBER THOSE WHO LIBERATED THE OLD WORLD
Increasingly, Western countries forget the merits of the Soviet soldiers who saved Europe from the Nazis. Today the feat of the Red Army is called "Soviet occupation", and monuments dedicated to soldiers-liberators and their graves are being desecrated.
But there is another Europe: ordinary people remember those who liberated the Old world.

On the 7th of May 2017, residents of the Dutch Leusden village laid 500 bouquets at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers. It's become a tradition for those lands: for more than 20 years the residents voluntarily take care of the cemetery.
